It is likely to be busy, so it may be better to approach from the south (Sunningdale/Virginia Water). From the peanut roundabout at Woodside there are two roads to Windsor. Take the second, the A332, sp town centre & M4, unless you would rather go to Legoland. The entrance to the car park is on the right after 2.3 miles. You must enter at the north end. Once in the car park drive a further 800 yards to the southern end. Ignore the morons parking on the verges near the top - there will be spaces at the end. If approaching via Runnymede (M25 jn13) and Old Windsor amid a sea of brightly coloured Lycra, cross The Long Walk and follow signs to Ascot (A332) and the car park will be on the left after 0.5 mile. There should be plenty of space for setting down rugs, chairs etc., near to or on Queen Anne's Ride.
